A new company ESO (Energijos skirstymo operatorius, AB)established on the basis of AB LESTO and AB Lietuvos dujos stars operating on 1 January 2016.
ESO AB will be supplying electricity and natural gas distribution services to more than 1,6 million customers.
ESO will consist of five regional divisions – in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai and Panevėžys. The divisions established in regional centre will coordinate the operations of the dispatcher\’s stations in the region, plan the repair, development or upgrading of electricity and gas distribution networks.
